Job Description

You will be responsible for interpretation and translation tasks primarily for internal departments such as the Third Development Division, Fourth Development Division, and Online/Mobile Publishing Headquarters.
This position requires close communication and linguistic accuracy to support global development, publishing, and management operations for a well-known leading Japanese gaming company.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide consecutive and whisper interpreting for internal meetings, business discussions, and presentations

  • Translate a wide variety of documents related to game development and operations, including development specifications, promotional plans, schedules, and press releases

  • Accompany staff on business trips as an interpreter, including travel coordination, administrative assistance, and meal/event support

  • Facilitate cross-cultural communication between Japanese and international staff, ensuring smooth project collaboration

Required Qualifications

  • Strong command of Japanese and English with confidence in consecutive and whisper interpreting

  • Preferred, JLPT level N1 or N2 (Japanese) and TOEIC Score of 700 and above (English).

  • Experience in interpretation/bridging roles for VIP meetings, IT or gaming industry events, and business negotiations

  • Native-level fluency in either Japanese or English

  • Ability and willingness to travel overseas for work

  • Experience facilitating or leading meetings in bilingual environments

  • Other proficiency in languages including Chinese, Korean, Spanish, French, German are also advantageous.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in simultaneous interpretation

  • Proficiency in additional languages beyond Japanese and English

  • Experience in international business bridging or cross-border communication

  • Experience in localization for entertainment, games, or digital media
