Job Description The Cyber Security Manager/Lead will oversee and manage the technical aspects of automotive projects,
ensuring the integration of innovative technologies while maintaining strong security protocols.
This position will require a combination of expertise in automotive systems, project management,
and cybersecurity knowledge to help protect and enhance our products’ safety and reliability.
<Key Responsibilities>
Lead and manage automotive technology projects from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, quality standards, and timelines.
Provide technical direction and support for the development and integration of automotive systems, including embedded systems, vehicle control, infotainment, and connectivity solutions.
Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to integrate industry-standard security measures into automotive products, addressing vulnerabilities related to in-vehicle networks, IoT connectivity, and external communication channels.
Identify cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities specific to automotive systems, propose risk mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE WP.29).
Work closely with engineering teams (hardware, software, and systems), quality assurance, and product management to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions.
Stay updated on the latest technological advancements in the automotive and cybersecurity sectors, recommending innovative solutions to improve product offerings.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication regarding project status, risks, and opportunities.
Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
Required Skills ・ Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on technology development and integration.
At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with cybersecurity practices, ideally in the context of automotive systems.
Expertise in automotive embedded systems, ECU architecture, vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet), and related technologies.
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and tools such as ISO 21434, SAE J3061, and threat modeling techniques.
Knowledge of secure software development practices, intrusion detection, encryption, and access control protocols.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of cloud-based solutions and connected car technologies.
Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or equivalent).
Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to automotive cybersecurity (e.g., UNECE WP.29, GDPR for connected vehicles).
