Job Description We are looking for someone who can support products/businesses from the planning stage and provide practical legal advice

in cooperation with development, business and overseas subsidiaries in order to strengthen legal compliance for overseas

expansion business. *Titles will be provided depending on the level.

The candidate will be responsible for the following in cooperation with related departments

  • Research and study of laws and regulations related to overseas expansion of business

  • Researching, analyzing, and advising on compliance with personal information protection laws in various countries

  • Collaboration with the legal and compliance teams of overseas subsidiaries

  • Deep understanding of business/development and practical advice for implementation

  • Establish a legal and compliance system that can respond to various new and global businesses

  • Internal awareness-raising activities

  • Training of junior members

Required Skills

  • At least 5 years of legal/compliance work in a company

  • Experience in compliance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, or experience in privacy-related work

  • English: Experience using English in business, or experience studying abroad, etc.

  • Legal thinking and analytical skills, and the ability to explain legal advice in an easy-to-understand manner for business promotion

  • Ability to work in a team and manage schedules.

Preferred Skills

  • Qualifications related to personal information protection law (e.g., CIPP)

  • Qualification as a lawyer in Japan or overseas

  • Experience in business companies, and legal and compliant work experience in the game/entertainment and video field

Estimated Annual Salary JPY7,000,000 - JPY15,000,000
